Astrid CAD Draughting Services was founded in September 2015 by sole proprietor, Tracy Astrid Alborough.

She has vast experience (27 years) in the Built Environment, particularly in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) part of the industry. She worked for 3 years in the Structural Design Section at The Department of Transport, for 5 months digitizing maps at Aerial Photographics and for the past 24 years at a Consulting Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Firm in Pietermaritzburg.

​For the past 4 years she has developed Astrid CAD on a contract basis.

​Astrid CAD is excited to branch into the Architectural Drawing field as of September 2019.
